Registration - International Students
How to Register
1. COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION FORM: You can download the Registration form: word document or pdf file and send it by mail or e-mail it to the Canadian Technology College.
Along with your registration form, please also include:
- two passport-size photos for your ID card
- proof of completion of required education
- transcript of your education
- copy of your passport
- proof of your English language level
2. PAY REGISTRATION FEE: You can send your registration fee CAD $500 by Bank Wire Transfer to the Canadian Technology College Incorporated or make an online payment using a credit card. Your payment will be applied to your registration fees.
3. LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE: Upon receiving of registration payment, you will be sent a Letter of Acceptance which you will need to obtain your student or tourist entry visa.
4. APPLYING FOR A CANADIAN VISA: If you require a student visa, go to the nearest Canadian embassy or consulate with your Letter of Acceptance, a valid passport, and proof of sufficient funds for your stay in Canada. Some countries also require a medical exam. The embassy will issue a student authorization or give you an introduction letter to show to Immigration Canada when you arrive in Canada.
NOTE: Those with a Visitor Visa may study for six months or less. If you are in Canada on a Working Holiday Visa, you may also take courses at CTC.
IF YOU ARE DENIED A VISA you are entitled to receive a FULL REFUND OF YOUR TUITION FEES (except all bank transfer charges). If you are unable to obtain lawful entry to Canada for the purpose of studying at Canadian Technology College, you must provide the letter from the Canadian Embassy stating that your Visa to enter Canada was denied.
5. BALANCE IS DUE: Once you received your student visa you have to pay your tuition fee for the first semester in full.
You will then receive your information package about Canadian Technology College before your departure date.
You have to confirm your arrival plans by e-mail or a phone call in advance.

FIRST DAY AT CANADIAN TECHNOLOGY COLLEGE:
Carry a map showing directions to Canadian Technology College, as you may need to ask for help. Arrive one hour earlier than your usual schedule for your first day of study for registration and testing. Bring your study confirmation documents and proof of medical insurance. We also require 2 passport-size photos for your Student ID card (if not sent with your application).
