International Students - Registration

How to Register

1. COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION FORM: You can download the Registration form: word document or pdf file and send it by mail or e-mail it to the Canadian Technology College. Along with your registration form, please also include two passport-size photos for your ID card, proof of completion of required education and any other necessary supplementary documents.

2. PAY REGISTRATION FEE: You can send your registration fee CAD $500 by Bank Wire Transfer to the Canadian Technology College Incorporated or make an online payment using a credit card. Your payment will be applied to your registration fees. Upon receiving a registration fee the Canadian Technology College will send you receipt for your payment.

3. LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE: Upon receipt of registration payment, you will be sent a Letter of Acceptance which you will need to obtain your student or tourist entry visa. Canadian Technology College will also send you a pre-arrival handbook, in which you will find all the tips you need to prepare for your trip.

4. APPLYING FOR A CANADIAN VISA: If you require a student visa, go to the nearest Canadian embassy or consulate with your Letter of Acceptance, a valid passport, and proof of sufficient funds for your stay in Canada. Some countries also require a medical exam. The embassy will issue a student authorization or give you an introduction letter to show to Immigration Canada when you arrive in Canada.

NOTE: Those with a Visitor Visa may study for six months or less. If you are in Canada on a Working Holiday Visa, you may also take courses at CTC.

IF YOU ARE DENIED A VISA you are entitled to receive a FULL REFUND OF YOUR TUITION FEES (except all bank transfer charges). If you are unable to obtain lawful entry to Canada for the purpose of studying at Canadian Technology College, you must provide the letter from the Canadian Embassy stating that your Visa to enter Canada was denied.

5. BALANCE IS DUE: Once you receive your visa, or 30 days before starting classes, you are required to pay 20% of your Tuition fees. (The rest of the Tuition Fees should be paid on the third day after the start day of the course).
You will then receive your information package about Canadian Technology College before your departure date.

You have to confirm your arrival plans by e-mail or a phone call in advance.
